This incident caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
