The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to head next after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could assist the group access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
